We few OC's living here are sure you will enjoy the delights of the Orient to be found in Singapore.

What have we got planned for you? The following is what we are going to do for our visitors:

Stay at the Historic Goodwood Park Hotel, a 5 star hotel http://www.goodwoodparkhotel.com/ I am sure we will get a competitive rate.It is close to the renowned Tanglin Club, the venue of our main dining even on Saturday. It is also close to the shopping capital Orchard Road.

Thursday 26th.

Informal cocktails by the pool and get to know one another. Bear in mind that the sun tends to cross the yard early in the tropics.

Friday 27th.

Enjoy a city tour in the morning and see how things have changed since you were at sea. See Chinatown, Little India, Arab Street and many other interesting locations. Later in the afternoon at 1500hrs we will take you on a Junk Cruise of the Harbour and Islands followed by a Seafood meal at Marina Pier South.

This will be followed by a light luncheon at the Min Jiang restaurant in the grounds of the Goodwood http://www.goodwoodparkhotel.com/dining-minjiang.html . Aptly named after the Min River of Sichuan, this restaurant presents a lavish dining concept in Chinese cuisine. Its menu features delicate Oriental fare from different provinces, including celebrated dim sum and barbecued specialties from an outdoor grill kitchen. The afternoon is yours to do as you like. For those interested we can arrange a ship simulator visit on Saturday afternoon.

The Main Dinner

At the Tanglin Club, cocktails at 1800 and the main dinner at 1730. Dress jacket and tie (not black tie). We will have amusing guest speakers for your entertainment. Light music will also be available for those who want to dance the night away.
