A marvellous event spread over three days with 180 attending comprising 50 OCs, 40 OWs, 5 OPs plus partners and guests. Held in the lovely city of Christchurch.

The reunion started with a cocktail party on Friday evening. On Saturday afternoon,in the Christchurch Art Gallery, Clive Bradbury gave a talk on Henry Bowers (OW) and his part in Scott's final and tragic expedition.

Saturday's formal dinner in the Town Hall was a very grand affair with numerous addresses including Archie Smith OC President, the rendition of the Conway song was done in grand vocal style led by an gifted conductor from Nelson (Charles Hufflet).

Sunday was spent at the Antarctic Centre close by Christchurch Airport including a buffet lunch. A very interesting venue covering Antarctic activities.

Thanks go to the organisers -Charles Hufflet,David Woods,Graham Broom (OCs) and their team for the excellent organisation making this probably the best CWP Australasian reunion to date.
