THE 2010 AGM DINNER AND DANCE

Saturday 9th October 2010 MARRIOTT HOTEL, WALTHAM ABBEY

The Conway Club was founded in 1910 so this will be our 100th anniversary.

The hotel is close to the M25 at junction 26 or can be reached from London via the Central Line (Loughton) or over ground (Waltham Cross) stations – both are a short taxi ride away. There is ample free parking for those wishing to drive. The hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool, spa bath, steam room sauna and gym with extensive facilities – all are complimentary for those staying at the hotel. The rooms are very well appointed and have been recently refurbished.

The hotel has good banqueting facilities and can accommodate tables of up to 12 on round or long tables. We are however limited to approximately 220 so early booking for the dinner is recommended. The AGM will be held in the hotel and commence at 15.00 hr

Booking for accommodation is to be done using the following telephone number: 01992 717170 but not before October 15th 2009 mentioning the Conway Club event and quoting code CC1A . Bookings can be made by telephone or fax or letter. Please ensure you receive confirmation. Rooms are being held on allocation until 29th August 2010 after that time rooms will be released. Any bedrooms requested after that date will be subject to availability and current prices. Cancellations to be made on the same telephone number and will be subject to their terms and conditions.

DINNER TICKETS

It is advisable to book these first before making your hotel booking. Tickets for the dinner will not be sent out until after January 1st 2010. The cost this year is £36 per person. Cheques payable to: The ‘Conway’ Club.

Please state your Conway dates, rank and decorations. Please provide the names of your guests and any seating and dietary requests. A stamped addressed envelope should be enclosed unless you would like your ticket sent by email in which case you should include your email address clearly written please. No tickets will be issued unless accompanied by payment.
