I
made a real pig's ear of the last general update to the Diary pages.
I've made loads of corrections so please check them again - almost
every new entry had something wrong with it!
Image archive VERY BIG UPDATE - Added 363 new images to give us 5,961 all told but I have hundreds more loaned to me at the 150th. It takes about 4
minutes to scan, format, classify, store and check each image so it may
take me a while to do them all! If I have some of your images please be
patient - they are safe and I'll do them asap. To save visits to all
the changed albums all new images are spread (somewhat randomly I'm
afraid) across Accessions 1 & Accessions 2 as usual. Anyway, this update has:
New
images for the 150th Anniversary weekend (Cruise embarkation, PN visit
and Socialising), New images for the years 1800s, 1905, 1907, 1908,
1909, 1910, 1917, 1930, 1932, 1935, 1936, 1938, 1939, 1943, 1944, 1946,

including 14 new newspaper cuttings), 1955, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1965,

new entries for Cariad, Eureka, Eureka II, Inyala, Rivers Class
dinghies and White Witch - all 1904-1935ish. Updated the entry for

The Conway (Canadian emigrant clipper ship) was built by Owens and Duncan at Portland, St John, New Brunswick,
Canada and launched in 1871. She was abandoned at sea in 1875 at
Latitude 45N and Longitude 44W, with her crew being rescued by the
German barque, Schiller (Golstein).Dr Harley Stanton has been
researching her voyages and passengers for many years and would
appreciate the help if anyone who knows anything of this vessel.
Details are here.
150th Anniversary Reunion pages have been extensively updated. There are now 480 photos in the
various albums and five video clips. I've added some new photo albums
and every existing album has new entries. I've also added a number of
documents but didn't actually include the full seating plan list. If
you have extra material, especially video clips please email them to me click here.
